John W. Ketchum is chairman, president and chief executive officer (CEO) of NextEra Energy, Inc. (NYSE: NEE), a leading clean energy company. Mr. Ketchum joined NextEra Energy in 2002. He has served as president and CEO of NextEra Energy Resources, a competitive clean energy supplier and the world’s largest generator of renewable energy from the wind and sun and a world leader in battery storage. He has also served as chief financial officer of NextEra Energy and as chief financial officer of FPL. His previous roles at NextEra Energy Partners include president and chief financial officer.

Mr. Ketchum holds a Master of Laws degree in taxation and a Juris Doctor from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law, where he was managing editor of the Law Review. Mr. Ketchum earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and finance, graduating magna cum laude, from the University of Arizona. He has also completed the Emerging CFO – Strategic Financial Leadership Program at Stanford University.

Armando Pimentel is president and chief executive officer (CEO) of Florida Power & Light Company (FPL), a subsidiary of NextEra Energy, Inc., and the largest investor-owned electric utility in the nation. He was appointed president and CEO in February 2023.

Previously, Mr. Pimentel served as president and CEO of NextEra Energy Resources, a competitive clean energy supplier and the world’s largest generator of renewable energy from the wind and sun and a world leader in battery storage. NextEra Energy Resources operates three nuclear power plants in two states, and its parent company, NextEra Energy, operates one of the largest nuclear power fleets in the nation. Mr. Pimentel also previously served as executive vice president, finance, and chief financial officer of NextEra Energy.

Prior to joining NextEra Energy, Mr. Pimentel was a partner at Deloitte & Touche and held various client and leadership positions in the financial services and energy industries. He also led Deloitte’s power and utilities business segment. From 1996 to 1998, Mr. Pimentel worked in the Office of the Chief Accountant of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as a professional accounting fellow.

Ms. Kujawa serves on the board of directors for Nuclear Electric Insurance Limited.

Prior to joining the company, Ms. Kujawa served as senior vice president of equity research at Stanford Group Company, and she began her career as an equity derivatives analyst at Goldman Sachs.

Ms. Kujawa holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and previously was a member of the New York Stock Exchange and National Association of Securities Dealers’ joint committee on the research analyst qualification exams. Ms. Kujawa earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in public policy studies and graduated with honors from Duke University.

Mr. Crews had direct profit and loss responsibility of NextEra Energy Resources’ approximately 24,600 megawatts of total net generating capacity, primarily in 38 states and Canada as of year-end 2021. He also served as vice president, controller and chief accounting officer for NextEra Energy and as chief accounting officer and controller of NextEra Energy Partners. 

Prior to joining NextEra Energy, Mr. Crews was a partner at Deloitte & Touche, LLP. He served as a national office clearing partner, consulting with clients on complex accounting and reporting matters. During his career at Deloitte, Mr. Crews primarily served clients in the financial services and energy industries. From 2013 to 2015, Mr. Crews worked in the office of the chief accountant of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as a professional accounting fellow.

Mr. Crews earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting with a minor in leadership studies from the University of Richmond. He also completed the Emerging CFO – Strategic Financial Leadership Program at Stanford University.

Previously, Nicole held various positions in NextEra Energy Resources, including vice president, Midwest and international, business management, and senior counsel, trading and origination in the legal department. Before joining the company, Nicole practiced law for more than a decade with a focus on transactional matters in the energy sector.

Nicole holds a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service and a Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center. She is a native of West Palm Beach, Florida but currently resides in Jupiter with her husband and two sons.

Charles E. Sieving is executive vice president and chief legal, environmental and federal regulatory affairs officer of NextEra Energy, Inc. Previously, Mr. Sieving served as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary of one of the largest publicly held competitive telecommunications companies at the time, where he had responsibility for legal, regulatory and legislative affairs. Before that, he was a partner in the Corporate, Securities and Finance Practice Group of Hogan & Hartson, L.L.P. in Washington, D.C. where his practice focused on representation of public companies in securities and business combination transactions, on corporate governance and on securities law and stock exchange compliance matters. Mr. Sieving was a frequent contributor to that firm’s publication on SEC and stock exchange developments.

Mr. Sieving received his Juris Doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he was Publications Editor of Cincinnati Law Review, and received his bachelor’s degree from Denison University. He is an active member of the New York and Washington, D.C. bars.

Mr. Hickson holds a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from Texas A&M University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia University, where he graduated with honors.

Mark Lemasney is executive vice president of the power generation division of NextEra Energy, Inc. He directs power production activities for all renewable clean energy plants of NextEra Energy’s principal subsidiaries, Florida Power & Light Company (FPL) and NextEra Energy Resources, LLC. Under his leadership, the company operates more than 70,000 megawatts of generating capacity at more than 340 sites across the U.S. and Canada, as well as 1,100 miles of pipeline. He was appointed to his current role in October 2022.

Prior to assuming his current role, Mr. Lemasney served as vice president of engineering & operations support services in the power generation division. Before that, he served as vice president of NextEra Energy Resources Wind Operations – South; vice president of NextEra Energy Resources Fossil, Solar and Pipeline Operations; and vice president of central maintenance. He was the plant general manager for construction, startup and operation of the Cape Canaveral Next Generation Clean Energy Center. Prior to joining NextEra Energy in 2003, Mr. Lemasney spent several years overseeing construction and commissioning of new power plants worldwide, including at General Electric and Black & Veatch, Inc.

Mr. Lemasney earned a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Mechanical Engineering from the Cork Institute of Technology in Ireland. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and holds a Florida Professional Engineering license. He and his wife, Courtney, live in Tequesta, Florida with their two children, Carrigan and Brogan.

Dr. Coffey joined NextEra Energy in August 2003 after serving in the United States Navy Nuclear Submarine force from 1982 to 2003. He previously served as the corporate vice president of nuclear, regional vice president of Southern Nuclear Operations; site vice president of Point Beach Nuclear Plant; plant general manager at St. Lucie Nuclear Plant; and numerous management positions at Turkey Point Nuclear Plant.

Dr. Coffey received a Bachelor of Science degree in nuclear engineering technology from Thomas Edison University, a Master of Business Administration degree from Regis University and a Doctorate of Business and Management in organizational leadership from the University of Phoenix.
